A Three‐phase Hiring Process

Scope: determination of employment need to job posting, including submission of Request to Recruit form and acquisition of necessary approvals.

Scope: job posting to selection of final candidate, including screening, interviewing, and selecting.

Hire Image

Hire

Scope: selection of final candidate to completion of hire, including hire and background check requests, extension and acceptance of offer, and initiation of onboarding process.

Tiger Talent, a web‐based system for navigating the hiring process at Clemson University, provides real time tracking of current and previous hiring actions. Of the three phases of the hiring process, only phase 1 (Request) is currently functional in Tiger Talent. Phases 2 (Recruit) and 3 (Hire) will be included in future releases.
